What is Information Literacy? In a nutshell, information literacy describes the abilities to find, evaluate, and use information effectively, ethically, and legally. The Mount Allison librarians strive to help students improve their information literacy skills so that whatever their need -- writing academic papers, seeking out health information online, preparing a report for their workplace -- they can respond to it confidently and competently.
