ALPSP Learned Journals Collection (Swetswise)( FT ) ( R )
Description: A collection of journals published by members of the Association of Learned and Professional Society Publishers (ALPSP). Access is delivered through Swets. The collection is comprised of 696 journal titles by 52 publishers. This is a multidisciplinary collection covering subject areas in the Arts & Humanities, Social Sciences and Sciences.

Description: Provides access to over 400 journal titles published by Springer Verlag and its associated companies. A few journals provide only abstracts and a few still do not have full text access. Periodicals Archive Online (PAO) ( FT ) ( R )
Description: PAO provides access to international, scholarly literature in the humanities and social sciences disciplines from 1802 to 1995 in thirty-seven subject areas. The database combines six separate collections (I - VI) together comprising 500 full-run titles (including over 60 non-English titles) spanning 200 years. Please note that Collection 7 is not included.

Description: PubMed comprises more than 20 million citations for biomedical literature from MEDLINE, life science journals, and online books. Description: Index to over 2,500 peer-reviewed journals in science, social science and humanities. Includes over 9 million full text articles. If you are asked for a user name and password, the article you are requesting is not available via Science Direct).

Description: SciFinder is a research discovery tool that allows you to explore the Chemical Abstracts Society (CAS) databases that contain literature from many scientific disciplines, including biomedical sciences, chemistry, engineering, materials science, agricultural science, and more.

Scirus ( FT )
Description: Scirus is a science-specific search engine covering both free and subscription-based web resources. Searches journal literature, scientists' homepages, courseware, pre-print server material, patents and institutional repository and website information. To search contents of Mt.A Library licensed full-text databases (such as ScienceDirect and SageJournals Online), click on Preferences and set the Library Partner Links menu to Mount Allison University. Click Save Preferences. Depending on your browser settings, you may need to repeat this step each time you use Scirus.
