Description:

SocINDEX with Full Text is the world's most comprehensive and highest quality sociology research database. The database features more than 1,918,000 records with subject headings from a 19,300+ term sociological thesaurus designed by subject experts and expert lexicographers. SocINDEX with Full Text contains full text for 428 "core" coverage journals dating back to 1908, and 136 "priority" coverage journals. This database also includes full text for more than 720 books and monographs, and full text for 6,785 conference papers.

Description: Full-text access to over 210 publications of the alternative and independent presses. Good source for book reviews.

Canadian Business & Current Affairs (CBCA) (ProQuest) (FT) (R)
Description: CBCA Complete is Canada's largest database of articles and other publications from a broad range of Canadian sources.  Covers current events, business, science, the arts, and academic information on a wide range of topics, produced in Canada. Includes over 500 periodicals and daily news sources (over 480 of which are Canadian), plus indexing to an additional 1,100 other titles (over 95% Canadian).

Canadian Census Analyser @ CHASS (R)
Description: The Canadian Census Analyser provides access to Canadian Census profile data including tables for Enumeration/Dissemination areas, Census Districts, Census Tracts and CMAs, federal and provincial data, individual Microdata Files, and Census Postal Code Files. (Not all are available for all Census years.) The data accessed by the Canadian Census Analyser have been acquired from Statistics Canada through the Data Liberation Initiative consortium.

CANSIM @ CHASS (R)
Description: CANSIM (Canadian Socio-Economic Information Management System) is Statistics Canada's main socioeconomic database.  It provides time series of statistics covering a wide variety of social and economic aspects of Canadian life including  employment, health, income, crime, transportation, population, trade, education, manufacturing, agriculture, investment and more.  Provides multidimensional view and more options for manipulating data than the free version available via Statistics Canada’s website.

Description: Full-text archive of journals in the Arts & Humanities, Social Sciences and Sciences. Current and recent volumes (last 2 to 5 years) not available for most titles.

Description: Wiley Interscience provides access to the electronic journals published by Wiley (1997 onwards) and also includes titles that used to be published by Blackwell Synergy which recently merged Wiley.   Subject areas covered include:  business, chemistry, computer science, earth and environmental science, education, engineering, humanities, law, the life sciences, mathematics and statistics, medicine and healthcare, physics and astronomy, polymers and materials science, psychology, and the social sciences.
