The American Psychological Association (APA) is a scientific and professional organization that represents psychology in the United States. The site includes information about APA publications, news and events, PsycCareers, a resource for job-seekers, and more.
Classics in the History of Psychology
Contains the fulltext of over 25 books and 200 articles considered classics in the history of psychology. Also links to more than 200 other relevant works available in fulltext from other sites. Intute: Psychology
Organizes and provides free access to "high quality resources on the Internet." Resources have been evaluated and categorised by subject specialists based at UK universities. Note that no new resources have been added since July 2011. Intute was created by a consortium of seven universities in the UK.
Neurosciences on the Internet
Lists selected neuroscience resources on the Web, and provides a graphical demonstration of the cutaneous fields of peripheral nerves. Maintained by Neil A. Busis, M.D., a practicing neurologist and the Practice and Technology Editor of the American Academy of Neurology Web site.
Reproducibility Project
A large-scale, open collaboration designed to estimate the reproducibility of a sample of studies from the scientific literature. The investigation is sampling from the 2008 issues of three prominent psychology journals - Journal of Personality and Social Psychology, Psychological Science, and Journal of Experimental Psychology: Learning, Memory, and Cognition.
Scirus
A science-specific search engine covering both free and subscription-based web resources. Searches journal literature, scientists' homepages, courseware, pre-print server material, patents and institutional repository and website information. To search contents of Mt.A Library licensed full-text databases (such as ScienceDirect and SageJournals Online), click on Preferences and set the Library Partner Links menu to Mount Allison University. Click Save Preferences. Depending on your browser settings, you may need to repeat this step each time you use Scirus.
Social Psychology Network
An extensive set of links (the site claims more than 18,000) to web sites with a social psychology focus. Maintained by Dr. Scott Plous, Welseyan University, and supported by the US National Science Foundation.
