ADMINISTRATIVE HISTORY/BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCH:
Fonds consists of records created by the Mount Allison University
Archives Artifact Illustration Project: Clara Dennis Collection.
This project was initiated by the Archives, and made possible
with support from the Crake Foundation, and additional support
from the Mount Allison Faculty of Social Sciences and the Senate
Committee on Teaching and Learning. Following the
identification and cataloguing of this collection by archaeologist
Dr. K. Leonard, Adjunct Professor, Mount
Allison University Department of Sociology and Anthropology,
he suggested that illustrations of these objects could be used
for teaching purposes. Maskull Lasserre of Aylmer, Quebec,
a Fine Arts student at Mount Allison University (Bachelor of
Fine Arts degree, May 2001), was commissioned to illustrate
selected objects from this collection.

SCOPE AND CONTENTS:
Fonds consists of 56 drawings of historic and prehistoric objects
such as stone axes, spear and arrow tips, etc. Also included
are slides of some of the drawings.
