I'm Jun Hattori, a former leader of MASSIE2003 fall. This time, I will explain about the MASSIE conversation group and encourage all of you to participate in this group and our activities. This group was established by Anne Semple, a former MASSIE coordinator before Adam (maybe you don't know her) to create opportunities for all MASSIE students to meet up and focus on speaking English through various activities after MASSIE program. Once you went back to Japan from Canada, you may realize you have less opportunity to speak English and to meet up with your friends than you were in Canada for sure. However if you join us, you can maintain your English ability, enhance it and have lots of good times with all MASSIE students. Our activity is quite simple: having coffee or tea at cafe and discuss some topics in English or sometimes going out to interesting places (e.g. movies, hiking and so on) We all welcome you to join us...

Hello and welcome to MASSIE Alumni! My name is Anne Semple and I was the MASSIE
Coordinator from 2000-2002. Each year there are many different alumni activities, and I hope that I will have the chance to meet you, this summer, when I am in Japan, participating in some of the many events. MASSIE has grown into a very big family over the years and I look forward to meeting you and introducing you to many other alumni in future. If you have any questions about alumni events, please do not hesitate to contact me by email at: asemple@mta.ca
