CSTS - Hardware

The CSTS currently features the following equipment:

  • 1 Apple Power Mac Dual Processor G5 computer:
    • Processor clock speed: 2.3Ghz
    • 2.5GB of internal (RAM) memory
    • 250GB Hard drives
    • CD-R / CD-RW / DVD+R (double-layer) burner. You can play and create CDs and single- or double-layer DVDs
    • 5 USB 2; 2 USB 1.1; 4 Firewire 400; 1 Firewire 800 ports
    • Analog and optical digital audio in / out ports
    • 20” Apple Cinema Display LCD monitor
    • LaCie 250GB external hard drive
  • 1 Alesis QS8 synthesizer (64 voice, 88 weighted key)
  • M-Audio MIDISport 4x4 MIDI/USB interface
  • M-Audio MBox audio interface
  • Sennheiser HD280 headphones

The computer is running operating system OS X 10.4. For information on the Mac computer, go to the Finder (the Mac's always-open basic application) and click on the Help menu.
