Mount Allison welcomes noted Israeli scholar, Oct. 2

SACKVILLE, NB — On Monday, October 2, Mount Allison will welcome Dr. Danielle Schaub, professor of English, Canadian Studies, and Scholarly Writing at Oranium, University of Haifa, Israel to campus. Dr. Schaub will be give a public presentation entitled “Photographing Canadian Writers Reading” beginning at 12 noon in the Owens Art Gallery. Everyone is welcome to attend.
Dr. Schaub is the author or editor of several books on Canadian literature. Her photography has been exhibited in Canada, India, Spain, Israel, and France. Her new book Reading Writers Reading: Canadian Authors' Reflections, with photos and texts by 163 Canadian and Quebec authors, is currently being launched across Canada to great acclaim.
Dr. Schaub’s visit is co-sponsored by the Centre for Canadian Studies and the department of English. The lecture will begin at 12:30 p.m. proceeded by a brief reception beginning at noon.
