Middle school students test university Science labs

About 80 Grade 8 students from Marshview Middle School in Sackville got some hands-on experience in university science labs when they visited Mount Allison University on Friday, Mar. 16.
The students spent the morning doing experiments and watching demonstrations in the physics, chemistry, and biology labs. A group of about 25 Mount Allison students volunteered their time to guide them through the labs.
The event was a partnership between the Mount Allison students and Tech South-East and aimed to encourage middle school students to explore science and technology education on their way to becoming the next generation of innovators.
