2010 Spirit Night winners |
MTA’s Spirit Night is an event that comes at the end of orientation week, but is actually a kick–off to the school year and the start up of intramural sport programming at MTA. But SHHHH!! The theme is a “best kept secret” until just a few days before the actual event. Residence teams are formed and parade across campus, pouring into the gym, showing their spirit and dressing up to represent the theme and challenge other houses in competition for the coveted “Golden Sneaker Award,” which is presented to the house that shows the most spirit, representation of the theme, respect, and strong participation.
There are lots of prizes, games, and your chance to come and make some noise as school gets started for fall 2012!
