University, 1938

Colville is awarded a scholarship to study law and politics at Dalhousie University. Stanley Royle arranges an equivalent scholarship to enable Colville to study Fine Arts at Mount Allison University. Colville enrolls at Mount Allison. His classes take place at the Owens Art Gallery, the home of the Fine Arts Department until the Gairdner Fine Arts building is constructed in 1965.
