John Murchie

Immigrating to Canada 44 years ago, John Murchie has resided in Atlantic Canada in Halifax, Nova Scotia and since 1990 in Upper Sackville, New Brunswick. For almost twenty years he worked at the Nova Scotia College of Art & Design as a librarian and for nine years as at Struts Gallery & Faucet Media Arts Centre as Coordinator. His first public exhibition was at Halifax's EyeLevel Gallery in 1976. EyeLevel also presented his first performance, A Quiet Evening, that same year.
