The Jean MacKay Chubb and Francis L. Chubb Collection

In the 1990s, Jean MacKay Chubb (Mount Allison University Class of 1938) and Frank Chubb of Montreal, donated their personal collection of Canadian art to the Owens Art Gallery, a gift which includes paintings and works on paper by such artists as Goodridge Roberts, A.Y. Jackson, Phillip Surrey, Dorothy Knowles, Carl Schaefer and others. With this exhibition of selected works from the Chubb collection, we pay tribute to their generosity and honour their memory as friends of the Owens and of Mount Allison University.
