Lucy MacDonald
Curator of Education and Community Outreach
When Lucy joined the Owens in 2005 as Curator of Education and Community Outreach, it was actually a return and marked five years since she had completed the gallery's year-long internship program.
She grew up in Igloolik, Nunavut, where in grade six, she and her dance club friends choreographed a piece to Chris de Burgh's Lady in Red for the school Christmas concert.
Lucy has a Master of Design from the Edinburgh College of Art and an MA in Museum Education from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia.
She currently sits on the Town of Sackville Arts and Culture Policy Committee.
