Protocol for Making Project Requests to
the Educational Technology Consultant

Working within the Purdy Crawford Teaching and Learning Centre, the Educational Technology Consultant’s foci are

• To provide support for curricular teaching and learning within classrooms, laboratories or studios through the judicious use of technology for pedagogical purposes, and

• To enhance classroom teaching through the provision of online learning opportunities.

The Educational Technology Consultant’s (ETC) duties involve both simple requests for individual service regarding technology and more complex departmental projects. It is essential that the Consultant receives sufficient information and lead-time in order to fulfill these larger, more complex requests.

Therefore, for such projects please complete this request form and e-mail it to the ETC. The ETC will prioritize requests based on complexity, required date, and relevance to teaching and learning issues.

Please note that requests which do not fall within the purview of the PCTC (for example, the creation of surveys not related to classroom teaching and learning) should be made to another unit, e.g., Computing Services.
