Procedure for Submitting a Proposal for Summer 2008 Project Funding
(Deadline: April 25, 2008 at 4:30 pm)

Your proposal should address the following points in no more than three pages:

Project Leader(s), department, contact information
 
Student Assistant(s), department, contact Information (if known); you may submit a proposal before identifying your assistant. You must stipulate that your assistant is a returning to Mount Allison in Fall, 2008
   

a) A one-paragraph summary description of the project

b) A detailed description of the underlying purpose and specific pedagogical or philosophical aims of the project, including expected outcomes and their benefits for teaching and learning at Mount  Allison.

   
An estimate of costs (include additional funds expected from other sources) .
   
A time frame for the project, including a commitment to submit brief progress reports to PCTC when requested.
   
A plan for the evaluation and critique of the project (for example, student evaluation, peer  evaluation).
   
A statement about why this project is likely to produce results that are significant and  transferable to other instructors, in other disciplines. How will you make your findings available to others?
   
A commitment to provide PCTC with a written summary of the results of the project on its completion.
   

A commitment to disseminate these results to the university community and beyond, including, if possible, suggested venues to do so.
