Co-operative Learning Object Exchange.
"A collaborative project of fifteen Ontario universities
to develop an innovative infrastructure for joint development of multimedia-rich
learning resources"
eduSource
Canada.
Canadian Network of Learning Object Repositories
"eduSource
is a national consortium of learning institutions, universities and private
sector partners, who will create the first pan-Canadian bilingual testbed
of linked interoperable learning object repositories." It is a project
of the CANARIE Learning Program.
MERLOT.
Multimedia Educational Resource for Learning and Online Teaching.
"MERLOT
is a free and open resource designed primarily for faculty and students
of higher education. Links to online learning materials are collected
here along with annotations such as peer reviews and assignments."
SPLASH
SPLASH is
a peer-to-peer application allowing individuals to share learning objects
in the Portal for Online Objects for Learning (POOL). POOL, in turn, is
a project to develop an infrastructure for sharing learning object repositories.
The project is being developed by a consortium of agencies based in British
Columbia.
