The Positive Space Campaign

This year's Positive Space Seminar will take place on Monday, April 7th 2008 at 7:00pm in Hesler Hall. The event is hosted by Catalyst and sponsored by Leadership Mount Allison. For more information about this or other Catalyst initiatives, please email catalyst@mta.ca or visit Catalyst's website.

The Positive Space Campaign is a Catalyst-run initiative to educate staff, students and community members on GLBTQ issues. The objective of the Positive Space Campaign is to create a campus that is inclusive and free of discrimination based on sexual orientation and identity. This project brings visibility and support to Mount Allison's GLBTQ community and creates awareness about GLBTQ issues on campus. If you are interested in displaying a Positive Space sticker to indicate your status as a GLBTQ ally, please read the information on this website. Once you are certain that you endorse the mission of the Positive Space Campaign you may fill out an online form and a Positive Space sticker will be mailed to you.
