O A Celebration of the Arts As of February 1, 2014, we have raised over $21-million towards this project. Our goals and aspirations are ambitious; the construction of this state-of-the-art Centre will be financed entirely from private funds, which is a testament to the vision and loyalty of our alumni and friends. Mount Allison alumni and friends are invited to take part in this milestone moment in our history. You can help support this building project with a gift directed to the Purdy Crawford Centre for the Arts. All gifts are welcome and may be pledged over a five-year period. ct 3, 2014 will be a defining moment in Mount Allison’s history — a truly transformative event for the Arts in Atlantic Canada. On this date we will celebrate the official opening of the Purdy Crawford Centre for the Arts providing us with an opportunity to showcase the Arts and help define the Canadian cultural experience for future generations of talented students. The 50,000-square-foot, $30-million Centre will provide specialized facilities for teaching, performance, and creative pursuits in Fine Arts and Drama.
