Toll Free: 1-866-890-6318 Cover: Mount Allison celebrates Mountie Pride during its first-ever hosting of the CIS Uteck Bowl, Nov. 2013 I Mountie Pride n each of my letters to the alumni community, I try and have at least one call to action for all of you. This time I have two. This edition of the Record features a cover story about the Mountie Pride phenomenon that swept through our campus and around the world during the Uteck Bowl in November.   I challenge all of you to keep the “Mountie Pride” phenomenon going by wearing your garnet and gold at least once a month. This could include wearing your 25 or 50-year pin, the famous Mount A scarf, your varsity jacket, your Mount A sweater, or simply use a Mount Allison coffee cup at work. You can always visit the Mount Allison bookstore online and order some new garnet and gold clothing. (mta.ca/bookstore)   When you wear your Mount Allison clothing, you will be amazed at how often someone will come up to you and introduce themselves as either an alumnus or the parent of an alumnus. It’s a great way to make new friends and connect with alumni from your area that you do not know yet.   Your second “call to action” is to send us a photo of yourself showcasing your “Mountie Pride” and we will post them in a special photo gallery on the new alumni website. The most creative and fun photo will receive a Mount Allison scarf. Carolle de Ste-Croix (’90) Director of Alumni Relations 2 / Winter 2014 / RECORD
