Congratulations and welcome to Mount Allison University!
The information on this page is designed for students admitted to the 2018-2019 academic year. Here, you will find answers to all of your questions and access resources to help you navigate program requirements, course selection, and registration.
Course registration for new students will be available beginning Monday, May 14, 2018 and will remain open throughout the summer. Registration is online using your Connect@MTA account (connect.mta.ca). Check your Mount Allison e-mail for notice of when registration opens for you. Access to course registration is based on payment of the registration deposit fee.
Connect@MTA is Mount Allison's information service for students. Here you can access your personal profile (address, contact information), academic profile (transcripts, grades), financial information (tuition & fees balance), and class & exam schedules. Through Connect@MTA you can produce official confirmation of enrollment letters, and request a preferred first name change. Connect@MTA is also used to register for courses. Video tutorials to familiarize yourself with Connect@MTA services are available online here.
Complete your registration in both Fall 2018 and Winter 2019 courses as early as possible to avoid waitlists and ensure access to your preferred courses. Late registration may result in an inconvenient schedule, or inability to take required courses. We recommend that you complete course registration by mid-June. Friday, Sept. 14, 2018 is the last day for registration in Fall term 3 credit courses, and year-long 1, 3, and 6 credit courses. Friday, Jan. 18, 2019 is the last day for registration in Winter term 3 credit courses.
