Assistant Don

Aislin MacDonald

Hello there my fellow Campbellites!!

My name is Aislin Mac Donald (pronounced like ASH-LIN) and I am really excited to be returning to Campbell as your Assistant Don this year! As the Assistant Don, I work closely with our amazing Don, Dale Springer, and act as the leader of my awesome team of house staff. I'm originally from Cole Harbour, Nova Scotia and am a third year student majoring in Fine Arts with a minor in Music. Feel free to ask me about the intro Fine Arts/Art History/Music classes. My hobbies are making art, photography, running and playing guitar. I love to jam and share music with people, so bring your musical instruments! During my first two years at Mount Allison, I've met so many incredible people and have had more fun than I can even begin to describe. Surprisingly enough, I was once a really nervous and excited frosh myself. So if you ever need help or just want to have a great chat, I'd love to have the chance to get to know you. Feel free to add me on facebook or just message me with questions, you can also email me at akmacdonald@mta.ca. And when the fall hits, drop by room 125 for a visit! I'm looking forward to meeting you and having a blast in Campbell this year!

Residence Assistants, First Floor

David Shi

Hello Campbellites!

I’m known as David and I look forward to being your one and only RA on first floor! Some find that I’m a little crazy and goofy, but I’m also super approachable and I love to help. Drop by 114 anytime for whatever reason; the door’s always open, even when it’s closed. Although, if it’s in the middle of the night, knock hard and long (I also like a good rhythm), because I sleep like I’m in a coma. Anyway, I’m a second year aviation major hailing from Montreal, Quebec. (Oui, je parle le français aussi, if you’re wondering) I’m crazy about flying and planes, and I’m also an avid Firefly fan. In fact, if you know firefly, you pretty much know me! Some things I love to do are flying (duh!), taking photos, and just generally goofing off with friends. In any case, welcome to Campbell, it’s going to be great! It’s like being on a cruise ship, only with bigger rooms, and less sea sickness! Don’t hesitate to approach any of us with anything. We’re here to help you have a safe, comfortable and fun residence experience!

Residence Assistants, Second Floor

Emma Jackson

Hey Campbell Hall!

First off, I can't wait to meet you all and am so excited that you have chosen Campbell to call home— You won't regret it. I'm Emma Jackson and I will be one of your 2nd floor RA's for the upcoming 2012-13 year. I am a second year International Relations major, Geography minor from Ottawa, ON. I love to snowboard and also love to travel whenever and wherever I can. In my spare time I craft model helicopters, play the triangle and compete in sandcastle-building competitions. This year you can find me in Rm. 226. Drop by whenever if you need anything, or just come by to say hey! Enjoy your summer Campbell, and rest up, we'll see you all in the fall to start off an incredible year.

Jon Mallard

Hi there!

My name is Jonathan Mallard and I will be one of your second floor RA's along with the lovely ladies Jennifer and Emma! I'm a second year science student who has yet to declare a major. I live in Moncton, New Brunswick and have my whole life. A few of my many interests include long walks on the beach, playing the Kazoo, and watching paint dry. If you guys ever have any question/ concerns/ whatever else you can imagine, feel free to come down (or come up) and stop by my room. I'm always available and I'll be sure to help you out with whatever I can!

Jen Klaus

I'm Jen from Halifax, Nova Scotia! I am a second year chemistry student, and also a second floor RA this year! I'm really excited to meet all of you and give you a frosh week and year you'll never forget!

Residence Assistants, Third Floor

Kelsey Maber

Hello future Geckos!

My name is Kelsey Maber and I will be one of your 3rd floor RAs this coming year. I am beyond excited to be on the house team this year and am ecstatic to meet all you who will be living in Campbell Hall. It's bound to be an amazing year for sure! A little bit about me - I am a second year International Relations major from Rothesay, New Brunswick. Some of my favourite activities include sailing, skiing, camping, hiking, and pretty much anything else that can be done outdoors. If you ever want to chat, have a problem to be solved, need a study buddy, or just want to hang, don't hesitate to drop by my room (#303). Enjoy your summer, stock up on some green and yellow swag, and I will see all your beautiful faces in September. Welcome to Campbell!

Eilish Elliott

Hey there Gecko!

My name is Eilish Elliott and I'm an International Relations major from Centreville, NS - a really small town in the Annapolis Valley. Some of my favourite things include cats, watching Gilmore Girls, Fuzzy Peach candies, and karaoke nights at Sassys. I'm super stoked to be one of your third floor RAs for the 2012/2013 school year. As RAs, our most important job is to make sure everyone in Campbell is comfortable and having the best year possible. We'll have tons of fun stuff planned all next year for you to enjoy and get acquainted with your new home, and the door to my room, 353, will always be open to anyone needing to talk, study, or even have a paper edited (I really like editing essays). I hope all you Campbellites have an amazing summer and get excited for Orientation week - I guarantee it will be a wicked time!

Brendan Philips

Hello Geckos!

My name is Brendan Phillips and I’m very excited to be your 3rd floor RA this upcoming year. I’m a second year Biology Major from the small town of Grand Bay-Westfield, N.B. I would be best described as an avid hockey player and fan, a future doctor, an active volunteer, the unofficial record-holder of being iced the most times in one night, and the defending Campbell Hall Massacre champion (partner: Garrett Hampton). Things I like include late night at Jennings, Moosehead Lager, and 2 am Jack’s pizza. Things I don’t like include people who eat chips in the library, Montreal Canadian Fans, and being served chicken burgers for the fourth night in a row at meal hall. Stop by room 326 or email me at bpphillips@mta.ca if you want to chat or if you have any questions. I look forward to seeing you in the fall. Cheers, Brendan Phillips

Residence Assistants, Fourth Floor

Nick Manuel

G'day Folks!

My name is Nick Manuel and I hail from a town called Quispamsis, New Brunswick. I will be one of the members of your house staff for the upcoming 2012-2013 year. This is going to be my fourth year at MTA (and fourth year in Campbell) and I’ve been working on an Honours in Economics with a double minor in Math and Commerce. Outside of academics, I’m also a major music fanatic who listens to a little bit of everything, I also dabble in guitar (mainly blues), and read a lot of non-fiction. That’s enough about me though, now it’s time to talk about you. Although I don’t know you yet, I can bet that as you’re browsing this website there’s a part of you that’s excited to be going away to university, and there’s another part of you that’s nervous to be away from home for the first time. I can assure you that there’s no need to be nervous, come September you’ll find yourself immersed in a community of friends that you’ll remember for the rest of your life. If you ever have any questions or concerns, feel free to pop on by. I love having random chats with people about anything and everything. I’ll be seeing you folks in September!

Claire Manning

Hello All!

I’m Claire, and I’ll be one of your fourth floor RAs next year. I’m in my second year at Mount Allison majoring in French and English and I come from Vancouver, BC. I know how difficult it can be to leave home - I certainly had some sleepless nights before traveling across the country - but worry not. The fabulous people that you meet at Campbell Hall will banish all thoughts of homesickness from your minds! Please swing by my room (438) any time come September. I’ll make us some tea and we’ll have a nice chat. Enjoy the rest of your summers and I’ll see you in the fall!

Alyson Duffy

Hey Geckos! I'm Alyson Duffy, but you guys can call me Aly! I am a second year history major from Salisbury, New Brunswick, just outside of Moncton. I am super excited to be part of the Campbell Hall house staff as an RA on fourth floor for 2012/2013. If you ever want to come hang out, need someone to study with, or need someone to talk to, you?ll find me in room #409. It will be my main goal for the newest Geckos to feel comfortable in their new home. I am super easy going and laid back, so day or night anyone can come to my door! I cannot wait to meet you all during orientation week! Enjoy the rest of the summer; see you all in four months! :)

Academic Mentor

Stephanie Davis

Hey, I’m Stephanie Davis – but most people just call me Steph. I am a second year history major from Riverview, New Brunswick. I am so excited to be your 2012-2013 Academic Mentor, helping to make your transition from high school to university as easy as possible – if you need a tutor, a study group, someone to quiz you before a mid-term, a peer-editor for a paper before it’s passed in, or require any academic advice - I’m your girl. You can find me on first floor, in room 131, with my door always open and ready to help you with anything you may need. On a more personal note, I am an outgoing and often times a very sassy individual who loves country music, ESSIE nail polish, Gossip Girl and Grey’s Anatomy. I am easy to get along with and can honestly say that Campbell Hall is going to be the most amazing home away from home for each and every one of you. Looking forward to meeting all of you in the fall, rest up because it’s going to be a year you’ll never forget.
