Hey guys!

My name is Nick Cochkanoff, and I am Harper Hall's president for the 2013-2014 school year! This means that I am in charge of communication between the residents of Harper, the house Dons and Assistant Dons, as well as the school administration to make sure everyone is happy and everything is going well!

I am a second year student studying sciences majoring in biology with a minor in psychology. However as you will soon learn, no one really knows what they're doing in the future so don't be intimidated when someone seems like they have it all figured out!

I am from Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Canada. If you have heard about Dartmouth before have no fear, it's not really how people say it is. I have a wide range of interests, including reading, watching bad movies, playing video games, hanging out with my friends, and listening to music so loud it gives me headaches.

If I could give you any piece of advise for orientation week it would be to really involve yourself as much as possible! This doesn't mean that you have to go to all of the events, it only means you should put yourself out there so that you can meet other people with the same interests as you! Mount Allison, and more specifically Harper Hall, is full of people with a very wide range of interests, and there really is something for everyone.

I know you are all feeling some combination of fear and excitement about coming to MTA, but I can assure you that everyone here will be more than willing to help you settle in, meet new people, and enjoy your time here! Your first week here will be a bit crazy, but we have a team full of great people here to help you! I am really excited about meeting all of you, and I can't wait for you to arrive!
