Hey Harper!
My name is Andrew, I'm from Bridgewater, Nova Scotia and I'm going to be the RA next year on Second West. I'm going into my second year and I'm majoring in biology with a minor in chemistry. Next year will be my second year in Harper and there's nowhere else I'd rather spend it. You should prepare yourselves to make lots of friends, memories (and of course to study hard).
Fun Fact: I once ate a 4-pound, twelve patty burger in less than 30 minutes and got my picture put on the restaurant's wall of fame.
Frosh Tip: I think one of the best things about Mount Allison is the wide variety of activities that you can be involved in, so my tip would be to try new things. Whether it's a sports team, a club, taking part in a play, going to intermurals or just taking part in the house events I promise it will make your experience at Mount Allison even better!
What I like about Harper: I was instantly amazed by the instant bonding between everyone even in the first few weeks of school. Harper is a house based on family, and it lives up to its reputation! From cheering on sports and intermural teams to going for family suppers, Harper has something to offer for everyone. Almost as amazing as all of that, it's also awesome that Harper is attached to meal hall, so in the middle of winter while everyone else is trekking across campus in a blizzard, you can walk to supper in shorts and a t-shirt if you want!
