- The program
is focused on students with 3rd year standing entering 4th year. Awards
will be given to qualified students meeting this criterion, first. Awards
will only be made to other students if there are not enough qualified
students with 3rd year standing.
- You must
have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 including GPA from the Fall term in the
year of application to be eligible for consideration.
- If
your cumulative GPA is less than 3.5 and you still wish to be considered
for an award, you may explain in your Statement of Preparation,
any medical or family issues, only, which negatively affected your
academic performance.
- You must
achieve a minimum score of 70% against the evaluation criteria in order
to qualify for an award, subject to the availability of funds.
- If you
have identified your proposal as being relevant to a Social Policy Research
topic and wish to be considered for a supplement (minimum $250 extra),
please complete Form 3. Check up to two (2) topics and write a brief
Statement of Alignment (maximum 250 words).
- These
are topics that have been identified as being of interest and relevant
to the Government of New Brunswick.
The research does not have to be carried out in or about New Brunswick,
but your outcomes should be of relevance to New Brunswick.
