  BI Norwegian Business School

Bounded by a fjord and surrounded by forested hills, Oslo offers fantastic scenery in a small and compact urban setting. Highlights include the Vigelund Sculpture Park, Holmenkollen Ski Hill, Viking Museum and Nobel Institute. The Norwegian ideology of political and social equality make this capital city an interesting study in modern democracy.

The undergraduate campus of the Norwegian School of Management is within walking distance of a wide variety of entertainment, shops, parks and museums. The well-developed International Exchange programme is offered to about 50 students per semester. All courses taught in English are open to exchange students. Although this exchange is clearly directed at the interests of B.Comm students, Mount Allison students doing a major or minor in Commerce, International Relations or other related fields may find a suitable selection of courses. A basic Norwegian language course is offered to all exchange students.

For students who are interested in the option of summer studies, BI offers a 3-week program in Intercultural Management (a Scandinavian Perspective) from June 27 to July 10, 2009. The program features lectures by university staff on intercultural management, guest lectures by Norwegian CEOs, company site-visits, classes on Norwegian life and society, as well as a healthy component of social and cultural activities (including sight-seeing, hiking, and Norwegian films).
