Pick-Up Service
Mount Allison provides complimentary pick-up service for international students who arrive by air (Moncton International Airport), train (Sackville train station), or bus (Sackville bus depot). Regular pick-ups will be scheduled on August 27, the first day of International Orientation. Limited pick-up service will be scheduled on August 28 to 29th. You will be greeted by a friendly Mount Allison representative who will drive you to Sackville and welcome you to the community. If you would like to request the pick-up service, please register for the International Orientation by Friday, August 24th.
Students who will be arriving on a day other than the ones mentioned above can contact the International Advisor to arrange for taxi pick-up. This costs approximately $70.00 CDN from the Moncton Airport. You can also contact the International Advisor for information about bus and train schedules in the region.
If you arrive at the Halifax International Airport, you will have to take a bus to Sackville, which is a three hour trip. For more information about the bus schedule, visit www.acadianbus.com.
Moving Into Residence
Students who have signed up to participate in International Orientation can move into residence after 9am on August 27. Students who arrive before this date will have to make their own accommodation arrangements in Sackville or nearby Moncton.
