Lost or Stolen Documents
It is important that you keep your passport and immigration documents in a safe place in your apartment. Similarly, make sure that you always have a copy of your documents in case you ever lose them. If you lose them or if they are stolen you must contact the nearest police station immediately. Once you have reported them missing ask for a copy of the case file so that you can submit it as proof that you have lost your documents when you re-apply for them both at your embassy and at the CIC office.
Call or email your embassy and ask them how you can obtain a new passport. In some cases you may need to go to your embassy in person.
To replace your immigration documents you must fill out this application form and send it to CIC.
