Art & Design: July 2-6
Young artists will develop and expand visual ideas and creative skills under the instruction of senior MTA fine arts students. Explore the fundamentals of drawing, including composition, perspective, basic anatomy, and creating volume and space. Try drawing figures, animals and nature with a variety of drawing media, including pencil, charcoal and pastels.

Science@MTA: July 9-13
Experiment and explore the wonders of science in a week of jam-packed, hands-on fun. This program will introduce campers to the exciting world of science including Chemistry, Physics, Biology Psychology, Forensic science and much more! Campers can team up with fellow “rocket scientists” to build and launch a model rocket, visit the psychology department’s animal lab, discover the wonders of the wetlands and even become crime scene detectives.

International/Culture/Food: July 16-20
The International/Culture/Food Camp provides a five day overview of different cultures from around the world. Campers will move around the globe and participate in projects and activities which allow for a better understanding of different worldly traditions and customs. If you have ever wondered about the Egyptian pyramids, Japanese calligraphy, or how to say “hello” in many different languages, this camp is definitely for you!

Sports & Physical Recreation: July 23-27
Campers in Sports and Physical Recreation will spend most of their time engaged in physical activity while learning about sportsmanship, teamwork, and how to lead a healthy and active lifestyle. Days will be full of both instructional and recreational sport activities. Intramural games and group challenges will provide many opportunities to improve skills. $75 no lunch,

Nature, Weather, & Environment: July 30- August 3
Has your child ever wondered how cloud, light, rain and snow work? If so, this camp is for them. Discover the world of weather through fun & exciting games, activities and experiments. The Nature, Weather, and Environment Camp experience involves hands-on participation and experiments mixed with awesome demonstrations. Participants will perform a variety of hands-on activities to learn about Nature, Weather, and Environment.

Geocaching: August 6-10
Ahoy Mateys! Ready yourselves for a week of training' for a career as a buccaneer. Kids will learn the ropes of navigation, treasure hunting (geocaching), pirate lingo, how to build their own miniature pirate ship and participate in a wealth of other activities. Batten down the hatches and join us for a week sure to turn any landlubber into a pirate as feared as red beard himself! $75 no lunch,

Outdoor Survival & Exploration: August 13-17
This week long Outdoor Survival and Exploration camp where campers develop skills such as building a fire, constructing a shelter, and identifying plants and animals. Campers will have the opportunity to face a challenging obstacle course that will build confidence and trust in themselves and their team mates.

Drama, Music, Photography: August 20-24
Broadway Musical summer camp combines the performing arts with an exploration of the world of music. During the week, campers will work with Mount Allison music and drama students who will guide them through activities in drama, music and dance. All of the inspirations and ideas that bubble up throughout the session are gently shaped into an original show which is presented for the public on the final days of the session
