Staff and senior university students at Mount Allison are prepared to introduce your students to the learning opportunities and possibilities found in a post secondary institution. Mount Allison is well known as the top undergraduate university in Canada and we would be pleased to host you on our campus.
Go Global: For students having completed Grades 10 and 11
Participating in Go Global allows students to test the waters of university before having to make this big decision. Campers in the Go Global programs work closely with Mount A faculty and students, participate in university labs and tutorials, live in residence, and eat at the meal hall. It is a true university experience. For Go Global participants, the fee is fully reimbursable should the student choose to attend Mount A.

Languages Villages: For students having completed grades 5 through 12
Four one-week language immersion camps are scheduled this summer – Spanish, Japanese, French and Mandarin. All camps will be taught by native speakers and participants will live in residences decorated like a Spanish Villa, a French House, Japanese House or, a Chinese Village. Students will experience the food, language, dance, literature, art, and culture of Spain/Mexico, France, Japan or China.

Live, Learn, Lead: High School Leadership: For students having completed Grades 10-12
This training program and skills-based week-end is a workshop for any high school student elected to the student council or another leadership position for the following year. This camp will consist of two nights in a university residence and meals on campus. Students from schools across the Maritime Provinces will learn to advance their leadership skills and make a commitment to positive action. Participants will have a chance to win one of four $500 residence scholarships.

Take Action! Academy: For Students having completed Grades 5 through 12
Coordinated with Leaders Today/Free the Children, this program will offer students and opportunity to advance their leadership skills, communication, interpersonal skills and learn more about social issues in our region and beyond. Students may apply to Joe’s Dream Scholarship Fund by the Academy for financial help.
