| Q: If I come to camp with a friend, can I stay with them?
We'll do our best! If you would like to be in a same room with a friend, please mark it down on your application and we
will take note of your request when putting together the rooms. We
try our best to accommodate campers but please limit your requests to
one friend.
Q: Do I get any free time?
Yes, there is free time throughout the
day, usually before and after meals. There's also rest hour after
lunch.
Q: Is the food good?
The food at camp is awesome! There's always something
for everyone so make room for seconds!
Q: How do I pay for the camp?
Cheques can be made payable to Mount Allison University
and mailed to 155 Main Street, Sackville, NB, E4L 1B5. You can also
make payment with credit card by phoning (506) 364-2253. Your spot will
be officially reserved once we receive your payment.
Q: What is the cancellation policy?
In the event that you need to withdraw prior to the
start of camp, the fees will be returned (less the $40 non-refundable
deposit) provided the request is received in writing a week before the
camp start date. No refund will be available if you cancel after the
start of the date
Q: Can special dietary needs be accommodated?
Absolutely. Please indicate any dietary needs in your
online registration form and we will work with Aramark (our food services
provider) to make necessary arrangements.
Q: What is Mt. A’s policy on drugs and
alcohol?
Drugs and alcohol use will not be tolerated during
summer programs. In the event that a student is found in possession
of drugs or alcohol they will be sent home at their own expense.
Q: Will students be supervised in residence?
Yes. Participants staying in the residence will be supervised
at all times.
Q: How do I get to Sackville?
The closest airport is in Moncton, which is approximately 50 km away.
A cab from the Moncton airport to Sackville is approximately $60 one-way.
If you arrive by bus or Via Rail (train) a cab ride from
either station in Sackville to the Mt. A campus is approximately $6.
Q: Can we make phone calls home?
Students will have access to a pay phone to make phone
calls home. It is suggested that all participants bring a calling card.
