Spend a week learning about theatre at Mount Allison University. Every day will feature classes and workshops presented by drama professors on topics relating to drama studies and theatre creation, such as How do actors read a script? What do directors do? How does theatre history help us understand contemporary performance? What can I do with a degree in drama studies? These classes will combine both academic and practical work to give you a real taste of what it’s like to study drama at university. In the afternoons you’ll have the opportunity to work in small groups with a senior drama student on the creation of scenes that you’ll get to perform at the closing banquet. You love theatre in high school... come and challenge yourself to discover how much more you can do! |
For Age 14 - 19 Date: July 15- 20, 2012. Live in residence, use all of our theatre and performance facilities, continue your experience over great meals in the dining hall.
Arrival will be on late Sunday Afternoon. Please apply early, as enrolment is limited. |
