Camp Staff
The Mount Allison University
summer camp team consists of faculty members and senior university students
that have extensive experience working with different age groups of students.
All staff holds a minimum of current Standard First Aid
and CPR certification. Police background checks are also conducted on
all prospective employees. Mount Allison University runs a multi-day training
session for all staff at the beginning of each season to ensure new staff are
prepared and that returning staff remain fresh and sharp. Every staff
member at the camp is chosen for their qualities of leadership, character
and sense of responsibility for the campers entrusted in their care. Staff members are fun, enthusiastic individuals fully committed to ensuring
that each individual at Mount Allison University summer camps experience
success and positive self-growth while participating in our customized
programs.
Our staff members host a friendly, creative,
responsible, supportive and fun environment during your stay. They are
an amazing group of faculty members and senior student leaders.
Throughout the camper's stay at Mount Allison University,
they can be assured of a safe environment where creativity, shared learning,
and personal growth are the goals of every program.

Maddy Wong – Camps and Youth Programs Intern
Why hello there future campers! My name is Maddy Wong and I'm from the wild west, Vancouver, BC. I just recently graduated from MTA, majoring in Sociology and minoring in both English and Philosophy. This is my second summer with MTA Camps and I couldn’t be more excited to be part of such a great team once again. I am obsessed with the Vancouver Canucks, I love running around and laying out in the sunshine, and I have two poodles at home that I miss dearly! I am super excited to be working as the Camps and Youth Programs Intern and even more excited to meet all of you. Emily Robinson – Summer Ambassador
Hello everyone! My name is Emily Robinson and I'm from Eastern Passage, NS.
I'm going into my fourth year at MTA, with a double major in Political Science and Canadian Studies. I'm very excited to get started with summer camp programs this year! I've been rock climbing and hiking for almost ten years, and I love the outdoors in general- although I have a soft spot for a good book and a comfy chair. I also love playing softball and watching a good game of hockey. I grew up all over the country and I love meeting new people, which makes me very excited to meet everyone! I have played soccer and basketball my whole life and have been to the Canada Games for sprint kayaking. Hello friends! My name is Abby Payne, I am from Riverview NB, and I am going into my third year as a Chemistry student here at Mount Allison University. I am an outgoing person who loves to spend time outside playing sports and taking part in other various games and activities. Growing up I was an avid basketball player but also enjoy pick up games of ball hockey, soccer, baseball and tennis, just to name a few! Hi! My name is Marin Burton and I’m originally from Ottawa, Ontario. I am in my third year of an Environmental Science major with a minor in Biochemistry.
