Herbert C. Atkinson: His victory in the Saint John Marathon Road Race in 1906 was hailed by Mount A. as an immense achievement. Frank Parker Day: Mount Allison's first Rhodes Scholar also scored Mt. A.'s first rugby football points on the new Athletic Field. Daisy L. Gass: She was team captain when Mount Allison played its first game of intercollegiate women's basketball in 1910. William S. Godfrey: Godfrey won maritime intercollegiate titles in each sport he competed in, including football, track, and hockey. Levi J. Mattall: Mattall was not an athlete, but he created Mount Allison's first known drawings of female athletes and spectators. Herbert F.S. Paisley: He led the varsity football team to victory in 1910, and was the first person to be recognized as a coach. |
