What is “Our Best Times Aren’t Wasted?”

Well, it’s a few things.

1. It’s a saying: At Mount Allison Our Best Times Are Not Wasted. Your best times here, the ones you will love having and will remember fondly, will not be the ones when you were totally drunk.

2. It’s a value. Together, we’re going to value the majority of students who, for whatever personal reasons, do not drink or drink moderately.

3. 3. It’s an invitation to create your own FUN with each other. Mini-grants of $300 each are awarded to student groups that comes up with a proposal to host a CREATIVE, FUN, non-alcoholic event for all students. A few examples: a talent show with cash prizes, “midnight hide and seek with walkie-talkies” all over campus, Karaoke with MASSIE students, etc. For Winter 2007, five grants of $300 each will be awarded in January for events taking place during the rest of the semester. Don't forget that the application deadline is January 12.
