Mohammad Ahmady's Home Page

I am an associate professor at the Physics Department of the Mount Allison University.  I received my undergraduate degree in physics from  Shiraz University in Iran, entered the graduate school at the University of Western Ontario (London, Ontario) in 1986 where I finished my Ph.D. in theoretical physics in 1991.

My first postdoctoral job (1991-93) was at the International Center for Theoretical Physics (ICTP) in Trieste, Italy.  This was followed by a year of teaching at Western in 1993.  I received a postdoctoral fellowship from the Japanese Society for the Promotion of Science to work at the High Energy physics Group of the Ochanomizu University (Tokyo, Japan) from 1995 to 1997.  The following two years I was at the Institute of Physical and Chemical Research (RIKEN) in Wako-shi, Japan under a postdoctoral research fellowship from the Science and Technology Agency of Japan.  I returned to Ochanomizu University in May 2000 for a year as a JSPS long-term visitor after teaching at Western again in 1999-2000 academic year.  I have been at Mount Allison University since July 2001.
