Policy on Workplace Harassment

Policy #1005 states:

3.1.1     Mount Allison University is committed to providing a work environment in which all employees are treated with dignity and respect by other employees

3.1.2     Workplace harassment will not be tolerated.  Where there is reason to believe that such harassment has occurred, an investigation will be conducted whether there has been a complaint or not  When an investigation finds that such harassment has occurred, appropriate corrective action will be taken.

In order to do your part in fulfilling the University's commitments, all managers and supervisors must proactively work to prevent harassing behaviour from occurring in their departments and to address it promptly by following in the process outlined in the policy if it occurs.
