Conference Organization Support Fund

Awards will be made after this date for the coming year.
Applications and supporting documents for the Conference Organization Support Fund are welcome from full-time faculty members until August 30th.
Applications must be submitted using the on-line application system Romeo @ MTA
Applications will include the following (which can be created in a word processing program and uploaded to your application):
- A description of the proposed conference. The description should note the potential impact and significance of the project or program in language that would be clear to an educated but non-specialist audience.
- A detailed budget, with justification for the proposed expenditures.
- If applicable, a copy of the report from the most recent previous award you received under this program.
At the time of application the applicant must be a full-time member of a Department or Program. The conference must have been accepted by the institution where it will be held and registration fees must be charged to delegates.
Number of Awards
The number of awards per year is at the discretion of the adjudication committee, but normally shall not be greater than four (4). Normally, funding will not exceed $2000 for Conferences with matching funds provided by the applicant from other sources.
Grants are awarded through a yearly competition and are valid for one (1) year from the date of the award.
Mount Allison University shall be acknowledged in all publications, etc.
