Credits: Courses at UL are called Modules. Each module is 6 credits each (ECTS). MTA students at UL should take 5 modules. 30 ECTS per semester at UL is equivalent to a MTA full-time course load (15 credits). 


Financial information

Tuition: paid directly to Mount Allison
Accommodation (one term):
250-500 Euros per month
Transportation: $1,500-$1,800 CAD round-trip (from Halifax)
Visa: Exchange students are required by the Irish Department of Justice to register with the local Gardai (Irish police). Immigration Fee is 300 Euros.
Insurance: MASU or private health insurance required ($200-$400 per semester)



Once an exchange students placement is confirmed, the International Education Division will send students an on-campus accommodation form.

A number of single rooms have been reserved for exchange students in the five student villages on campus. Campus accommodation is limited and is allocated on a first-come first-serve basis.

Booking forms must be accompanied by a 250 Euro booking deposit in order to reserve your accommodation. There are also several off-campus residences available for exchange students.
