GSU recommends that exchange students live in the University Villas. University Villas (UV) is Georgia Southern’s lakeside living environment and is a community for upper-class students who enjoy individual bedrooms with a large living room and kitchen, a swimming pool and a pond.
After acceptance, you will be given instructions on how to reserve your housing in University Villas. Students who wish to stay off-campus must reserve their own accommodations. Be sure to inquire about distance from campus and the possibility for a short-term lease.
Non-US students require a J-1 Visa to study in the United States. Contact the nearest US Embassy or Consulate for more information about the application process and cost.
