Financial information

Tuition: paid directly to Mount Allison
Accommodation (one term):
$150 AUD/week (shared), $180-$250 AUD/week (single)
Meal plan (one term): pre-paid meal card available ($/meal)
Transportation: approx. $3,500 CAD (from Halifax) 
Visa: $535 AUD (TU575 Student Non-Award Sector VAC1 Visa)
Insurance: mandatory Australian insurance (approx. $300 AUD/six months)

Visa information

To study in Australia, non-Australians will require a student visa. Once you have been accepted to study at the University of Newcastle, you will be issued by e-mail an electronic Confirmation of enrolment (eCOE). Use this eCOE to apply for the TU575 Student Non-Award Sector VAC1 Visa.
