COVID-19: Please note that all University-funded or University-related travel to countries outside of Canada is cancelled/postponed until further notice.  This applies to faculty, staff, students and researchers, and includes international exchanges.   Mount Allison University has canceled all in-person summer study abroad programs for summer 2021.  Programs listed below will either indicate they they have been canceled or will be held virtually for summer 2021.    Students will be able to apply for summer exchange opportunities that will be held virtually and the application for these programs is now open.  The application deadline is Friday March 16, 2021 at midnight.

Cross-Cultural College (CCC) Global Career Seminar-  OFFERED VIRTUALLY FOR 2021
Dates: June-July (pre-lectures period), August (Intensive 10 days course period) 2021
Program info: Join students from Queen's University, the University of Toronto, King's University College at Western and Kwansei Gakuin University (KGU) as part of a jointly-developed certificate program that focuses on contemporary issues in Japanese and business, politics and culture. The aim of the program is to educate world citizens with the multicultural understanding and communication skills to enable them to be leaders of the future.

 BI Norwegian Business School - Norway - OFFERED VIRTUALLY FOR 2021
Dates: June 21, 2021
Program info: Possibility to take two Bachelor Courses (7.5 ECTS + 7.5 ECTS) over four weeks.  The following courses are offered: The Art of Storytelling for Business Practices, Multisensory experiences, The (hi)stories multinational companies tell, the Sustainable Career: Burnout, Boundaries in Business

University of Tübingen - Germany - OFFERED VIRTUALLY FOR 2021
Dates: Online Summer School 1 = June 7-July 2, 2021  Online Summer School II = July 12-August 20th, 2021
Program info: Summer School I focuses on European Politics and Human Rights.   Summer School II is "Divided in Diversity" - The European Union in Crisis?  
Application: Apply online through Tubingen. Applications due by March 31 for Summer School I and II and by June 28th for the International Summer Course. 
Cost: Tuition paid to Mount Allison for 3 or 6 credits (if taking one or both summer schools).  And program fee of 100 euros for Summer School I and program fee of 175 euros for Summer School II.

Dates: July 12-August 6, 2021
Program info: Courses taught in English on history, politics, sociology, business, economics, and computer science. Chinese language courses also available. Students can take one to three elective courses of their choosing as well as optional Chinese language courses, for a total of 9 MTA credits.

 Dongguk University - South Korea

Dates: 2021 TBA

Program info: Buddhist Studies and Religious Studies,  Film & Digital Media, East Asian and Korean Studies, Korean Language and Culture, Global Management and Economics, Criminal Justice and Architecture. Students can take 1 course per session and can attend for one session or both. 

Application: Apply directly online through Dongguk University.   

Cost: Application fee is 100,000 KRW.  Program fee is 800,000 KRW per course.   Accommodation is 300,000 KRW for Session 1, 280,000 KRW for Session 2 or 600,000 for both (June 28-July 31).

University of Stirling - Scotland

Program info: Scottish culture and history, religion and politics.

Application:  Apply directly online through the University of Stirling Summer School.  Applications are due Friday, April 10, 2020. 

Cost: Program fee is 3125-5900 Euros depending on which modules you choose and how many credits you take.  The program fee includes tuition fees, day-trips, excursions, fitness centre memberships.

Waseda University - Japan

Program info: Courses taught in English on business, economics, history, literature, politics and sociology all in the context of Japan and Asia. Japanese language classes also available. Students can take two courses, for a total of 3 MTA credits.

Cost: 490,000 JPY program fee paid to Waseda includes tuition, accommodation, airport pickup, and field trips.
