Mount Allison, along with Acadia, Bishop's and St. Francis Xavier are proud members of the Maple League of Universities.
Individually, each of our institutions is committed to delivering an extraordinary educational experience – student centred, hands on, and community minded – and consistently ranked among Canada's very best primarily undergraduate universities.
Working together, we offer you broad educational, cultural, and social opportunities that complement your program of study.
In the past year we've:
- Introduced team-taught courses delivered at multiple campuses through state-of-the-art video technology. Courses included Intro to Mi'kmaq, Intro to Greek, and Genocide & Justice.
- Offered extracurricular activities such as Up for Debate, an event that included a student debate tournament, a business case competition, and TEDx Talks featuring students, faculty, alumni, community members, and staff from the four universities.
- Live-streamed guest speakers such as Nobel Prize winning astrophysicist Art McDonald, former Prime Minister Paul Martin, and Senator Murray Sinclair.
As a dynamic group of four extraordinary universities, Mount Allison, Bishop's, StFX, and Acadia demonstrate the power of true collaboration.
