Eddie works in corporate sponsorships for the 2013 CFL host team and Grey Cup champions the Saskatchewan Roughriders.
“I started working with the Riders as part of my internship for my MBA,” he says. “I’m fortunate to work with an organization that’s so well respected. When you say you work for the Riders, people just start smiling.”
This level of fan support and engagement is one he can relate to as a former Mountie.
“It was really exciting to see both teams I care for doing so well this fall,” he says. “You can see support growing for Mount Allison athletics over the past few years. I’m proud to hear of these accomplishments from across the country.”
Originally from Dieppe, NB, Eddie chose Mount Allison because it offered him both the opportunity to play sports and get a great education — earning his Bachelor of Arts with a major in Commerce and minor in psychology.
“I played soccer and football in my first year and then football throughout my degree,” he says. “I knew Mount Allison was a great school but I didn't know how much I would appreciate the culture of the place, the community pride, and the support from both the student body and the alumni towards athletics. It was definitely the right choice for me.”
