Klapman is pursuing both a Bachelor of Music and a Bachelor of Arts at Mount Allison concurrently over five years.
“I came to audition and fell in love with the campus and the feel of the school,” says Kaye, a graduate of Northern Secondary School. “It was somewhere where I could get really involved, learn a lot, study hard, and immerse myself in the school community. Mount Allison’s size, location, program, and school itself were all reasons I chose it.”
Along with her studies in music and psychology, Klapman is involved in a host of extracurricular projects. She served as team captain for her residence’s Relay for Life team in support of the Canadian Cancer Society, is a member of the Elliott Chorale and participated in the Overnight Opera program.
Klapman has also continued her interests in theatre and drama at Mount Allison, acting, making costumes, and even helped co-write a script for one the productions this year.
“Mount A has provided a ton of great performance and production opportunities.”
