Position description
The Music Department at Mount Allison University invites applications for the position of instructor(s) in Brass (trumpet and/or euphonium). This is a stipendiary (part-time) appointment. Preference will be given to applicants with graduate degrees in brass performance, an established record as a performer, and studio teaching experience at the university level. Teaching responsibilities include weekly studio instruction of up to 4 students (MUSC 1501–4591) approximately 1 hour per student per week plus studio class, overseeing student performance preparation, and assessing performance juries associated with these students. These courses run for both Fall and Winter semesters: September 2025 to April 2026. These courses will be taught on the campus of Mount Allison University.
