Career Bootcamp

Get ready for those upcoming job, internship and post grad applications! Join us for three separate 1-hr sessions to learn about what you can do to be READY for the future. All students who register will submit their resume for review by the team in Experiential Learning so that when you complete Bootcamp, you are ready to apply for your dream opportunity!   • January 27 at 8pm – Rock your Profile: LinkedINMarina Byezhanova, Canadian entrepreneur and social media expert, will present on how to build a strong LinkedIn profile as a student or new graduate and will give insight on best networking practices.
  • January 28 at 8pm - Online Etiquette: Interviews & Communications - Samantha Kris is an experienced professional coach who will inform you on creative techniques to build an interesting profile, ways to improve your written communication and how to leave a lasting impression before, during, and after an interview.
  • January 29 at 8pm - Behavioural Interviews: What you need to know - Hear from Karen McKenna, HR Advisor at Bishop's University, about what goes on behind the scenes of an interview process. Ware are the hiring expectations, and what has changed during the pandemic.
