Miller Brittain

Night Target, Germany spacer Miller Brittain enlisted in the Royal Canadian Air Force in 1942 and served overseas with the 78th Squadron of the Royal Air Force Bomber Command. Three years later, in April of 1945, he was appointed official war artist to the R.C.A.F. Following his discharge in 1946, Brittain continued to paint and exhibit his work. He passed away on January 21, 1968 after suffering a stroke the previous November.
