Spencer Gough
were married on July 2 in Moncton,
NB, where they were joined by many fellow
Allisonians. Jessica and Spencer met and fell in
love in Hunton House.
Pamela (Cripps) Vivier ('07)
and husband
Stefan would like to announce the birth of
their first child, Juri Paul Lee Vivier, born
Oct. 14 '11.

Beverly (McPhee) Pugsley ('96)
moved to New Glasgow. Paul is a financial
advisor for Imperial Services at the New
Glasgow branch of CIBC and Beverly is a
teacher at Walter Duggan Consolidated
School in Westville. Their son, Liam, is now six
years old and adjusting well to the move.

are happy to announce their engagement.
The two met in first year while living in
Hunton House and taking the same program.
They plan to be married in Spring 2012.
Elizabeth Cavaliere ('07)
was awarded
one of the National Gallery of Canada's (NGC)
Lisette Model/Joseph G. Blum Fellowships
in the History of Photography as part of its
Research Fellowships Program. This program
encourages and supports advanced research
on the NGC's collections, including those in
the library and archives. She holds a Master's
degree in art history from York University, and
is currently a doctoral candidate in art history
at Concordia University. During her residency
she will study the photographs of Alexander
Henderson (1831-1913) to deepen understanding
of 19th century Canadian topographical land-
scape photography.

A graduate of Mount Allison (history and French)
and most recently the journalism program at
Holland College,
Shannon MacLeod ('07)

started with the Times & Transcript, in Moncton,
NB after having completed two summer intern-
ships with the Kings County Record. Shannon was
the recipient of the 2010 CBC Journalism Award
from Holland College for outstanding contri-
bution to journalism. Besides her experience
with the Kings County Record over the past two
summers, Shannon also completed an internship
with The Guardian while living in Charlottetown.
She has recently adopted a black pug named Odie.
After graduating from law school in May,
Chris Ka Sin Chu ('08)
passed the July 2011
Maine bar exam and will be sworn in as an
attorney in October. He is currently working at
a law firm that specializes in criminal defense,
family law, and insurance subrogation, as well
as general civil litigation.

great time in Chile and thought this adven-
ture of three alumni and best friends deserved
a proud Mountie snapshot! The three of us
have been all over the globe in the past year,
but the connection we made at Mount A is
a lifetime friendship and we are already schem-

Juliet Manning ('10)
is continuing her
studies in biology at the University of Zurich,
Switzerland, where she is working toward a
Master's degree with a focus on ecology. She
is currently enjoying a three-month intern-
ship at the Zurich Zoo.
