Norval McConnell ('80)
writes, "Just
retired after 31 years in the education
world. Had a blast. Enjoyed every second
of it." He is now working with the Monc-
ton Miracles, a professional basketball
team in the National Basketball League of
Canada. "What a great retirement job! Had
a chance to see

Peter Gilbert ('79)
at the
Grey Cup this fall. Some old and wonderful
memories were revived. Great years were
spent at Mount Allison."
Michel Samson ('91)
writes "After 12 and
a half years on staff in the Department of
Plastic Surgery with the Cleveland Clinic in
Florida, including the last seven as Program
Director for the plastic surgery residency
program, and former Interim Chairman of
the Department of Plastic Surgery, I will be
moving on to private practice in Daytona
Beach, Florida in February. I will also be on
staff in the Department of Surgery at Hali-
fax Health Daytona, and Florida Hospital
Daytona. I am married to Rachel Samson,
with daughters Raegan (age 2), and Olivia
(age 3 months). We are excited to open this
new chapter in our lives, and always inter-
ested to hear from Mt A friends."

John Lindsay-Botten ('93)

olling, we have released a compilation
Christmas CD called Presence in limited
edition for '12, more widespread for '13.

have a portion of the proceeds go to the
Mount Allison Music department Special
Funds. Outside of the Christmas season, I
have been active in voice-over work and as
director of music ministries for the Shear-
water Military Base Chapel. I am also con-
tinuing to teach music, both privately and
through Long & McQuade in Dartmouth at
the time of writing."

"My husband Adam and I are thrilled to
announce the arrival of our second son
Martin Joseph. He arrived May 11 `12
weighing 10lbs9oz and 19 1/2 inches!
